Not bad. Took off early tonight. I put in way too many hours this week.

I wish we got paid OT. If we did i would have worked the whole shift. i have way too much comp time.

That's the reason I said what I did. The guys here don't get paid OT either, just comp time (when they CAN get comp time)

We can accrue comp time. Its just hard to be able to take it. mine is more flex time. I have to be at work an hour early to get people scheduled, timecards and supervixory logs done before brifing. Then i work the whole shift. Not including any OT. I try to take off early on my last night so that I don't get 24 hours of comp a month on top of the regular unexpected OT.

Now we (dispatchers) and the Jailers DO get overtime pay. But we are on an hourly scale whereas the deputies are salaried.
