Bonnie is sweet and feminine, but she has an adventurous side. I was shocked when she went into high school wrestling. I think the AF is a good fit for her. It's a lot softer duty than other branches, but still serious business. And she is a smart, serious person. She had to turn in her SAK when she went in. She carries a knife at all times normally.

Talk about turning in knives, I was stationed in Japan from 1987 until 1991. I had been carrying a BM Butterfly for several years and also carried it in Japan. Every year when I was in Japan I went to Hawaii for a months leave during Christmas. I carried that Butterfly knife in and out of Tokyo and Honolulu Airports EVERYTIME and only got questioned once, when leaving Japan. The customs/immigration guy there looked at it and saw what it was. He got across that he wanted to see me "flip" it. I did a couple flips and he got a big grin on his face, said something while nodding his head up and down and slightly bowing, gave it back to me as I went through the gate to get on the plane.

Maybe I should show her the Benchmade Infidel OTF automatic. Perfect for spooks and intel types.
