Once again, another UNKNOWN catch in the health care bill. Was watching Fox this morning and it is now REQUIRED to report ALL gold transactions over $600.00 and with gold now going for $1300.00 an ounce.... They Want to know WHO,WHAT, WHEN, WHERE AND WHY on ALL gold transactions over $600.00!
Boy aren't you glad we now have health care for everyone!

Ok, so you were talking about AR's again last night. I don't have one anymore and if I do build one it will be a p-dag killing machine. A2 lower receiver quality lower parts kit Geissel (sp) trigger group Magpul winter trigger guard Magpul Moe pg Magpul fixed stock with riser PRI Big Weenie charge handle nitro-plated bolt carrier group 24" varmint tube LaRue mount Free-float hg (railed, not sure which though) Harris bi-pod Leupold Varmint reticule 6-18x optic
Now you see why I don't just go build one up right now LOL.

LOL Sumo thats really close to what this build will be. And why it will take years to build it. I don't have 2-3 grand hiding in my back pocket right now. But If I spend about 100 a month I will get nit done eventually.
Architect these will be the first truly frivoulous guns i have ever had. I have always had a serious use for everything else. These I just wanted. So I sprang for some etching. I am thinking of putting some trick things on these just for the "neat" factor.

Building an AR seems like it would be fun. I don't have any practical use for one. If I did it, it would be .308. Thinking of building a shotgun for the house. Either a Remington 870 Police or Mossberg 590A1, leaning more toward the Mossberg. Looking at the Remington 887 Tactical, too. It's pretty cool, but looks a little gimmicky.
Going to see the Exorcist tonight, The Original Director's Cut. I wasn't around for the original release and I just plain missed the one in the late nineties. Can't miss this one. Pretty excited.

Remington has a tactical over/under now, too. It doesn't have ejectors, though. I'll be passing for this reason.

Outside of military applications. The majority of tactical stuff is fluff for sales only.
My work rifle has a fore grip and a light. Everything else is fluff or eyecandy.
Don't get me wrong. I think alot of the stuff is neat and I am a gadget junky. But for real work less is more. When you have to lug around a carbine in close quarters the less weight and stuff the better.
I feel for the GI's lugging a whole lot more around all day every day.

A tactical over and under? Remington is loosing its mind. It's pretty neat, very bare bones. Very compact. I think they went without ejectors to keep the price down. Looks like it's geared more for home defense, better not need more than 2 shots though.
