Nice AR pistol there MonkeyBomb! I remember when I was running around looking to buy an AR pistol. settled on the bushmaster but couldn't find one anywhere in this whole state! had just decided to drive to Louisiana when I bumped into the FN FiveSeven for the first time. Ended up with that instead. Still wish I could pick up an AR pistol and maybe even slap the AR57 pistol upper on at sometime s well. If only i had the funds. I can always dream though.

looks like its gonna be a fun shooter. always heard they are very loud though...

what sights are you putting on that bad boy?

looked for pics of that tactical under/over. just cant imagine what they could do to label it "tactical". I could see a shorty shotty labeled for home defense but "tactical". I even get the idea of a raill to mount a flash light. I would like to get a short inexpensive sxs at some point even. just to have something stupid basic with a lot wallop. I guess storing it with a light makes since for when the lights go out or something ain't right. Still I doubt it would ever leave the house for anything other than shooting man made objects in a field somewhere.

I haven't decided what iron sights I'm gonna put on it yet. I will put an Eotech on it as soon as I can afford it.

since I mentioned the FiveSeven... It seems some ranges ar forbidding the use of the 5.7x28 round on thier ranges! It seeks they are claiming that the round is damaging to backplate. Dont know if it's just the round or if somebody has been using some steel core ammo. it seems it's the round because the last time I went they where just targeting steel core ammo and let me shoot the fsn. Next time I went back there is a sign on the door saying specifically no 5.7x28.

others on the fsn forum have reported the same thing but I can't imagine a bunch of guys with souped up ammo tearing up ranges. I was thinking it cant be those factory polymer tip rounds doing that so maybe the hollow tip rounds are doing some damage. still that doesn't sound like the souped up .22 that some guys have tried to make this round out to be.

It may be the lead free rounds that are prohibited!

that's what I was thinking. but is lead free ammo known to do more damage in general or is it just this round?

just seems odd to target a specific round at a place that was made to be shot.

Your Right! there shouldn't be a reason stopping you from shooting your FiveSeven unless it's the SS190 Ammunition.
