you have to have a job that puts your life in jeopardy to get a carry permit in nj. this bothers me more in theory than practically, since i would rather carry sabre red.
still, it's crap.

when I shopping I always see those same few states listed that they won't deal with. I always just have to shake my head. doesn't make sense to me...

nope... been trying find ammo locally and not finding much. been looking for a good slot online but they a seem the same. may get a gunbroker account or something. I just want to be able to compare a few rounds at the same time. nothing I wanted has be on a shelf here. Ammoman just got some reloadable 145 gr in for 500 per 1000 delivered. Stay away from Wolf, there is some surplus out there that is good like the South African, MEN German, and some FNM Portuguese.

I still remember getting pulled over once and the officer asked me if I had I gun in my car. I said "Yup!" He ran it and end of conversation. No problems...

He ran the serial number of the gun? wow, never had that happen here in OK. If need be I tell officer I have a CCW and they ask where it is and not to put my hands near it. That is it.

I was thinking of some good ammo first but I am leaning towards some bulk ammo now. my internet searches says federal gold match is good out of the m1a so I may jump on gunbroker and just try to snag the 200 rounds auctions they have whenever I get some extra funds.

Look at ammoman as he has the best prices on it now. I have a 140 rds just in case I decide to scope my M1A. I did pick up a FAL and it worked very good with Wolf after I closed the regulator down a bit.
