First one in that color, and it's ok. I prefer darker colors though, I believe.

Of all the knives I own, if I could only pick one to be stranded on an island with, it would be the SOD. It'll do just about anything short of chopping down large trees, and it may do that with some patience. I don't carry mine that much, but when I'm camping it's my go-to blade.

How long have you had it? Just got mine early this year, blk/blk from Sumo. Got my DF from Chris after Blade, haven't carried it any or even used it very much, just chopped a few limbs with it when I first got it. Can't even tell it's been touched.

Hehe, yeah, same for my DF. Cut some branches and destroyed a LARGE branch from a red bud tree but I cleaned it up with alcohol and I have also cut some smaller stuff but you have to look to see that the finish isn't virgin.
