hoping one of these websites will give me access to more tasty animals. it will be focused on deals for less common spices and foods.

Food is good. Have you tried any of the recipes in our cook book here. I am going to make some of Phyllis's dressing today. Super simple. Box of uncle bens (or any) wild and long grain rice, pound of pork sausage and herb Stove top stuffing. Prepare each according to directions (use chicken broth NOT water). Set each aside to cool. After cooling, combine all together, put in a 9/13 (9x9 may work) and bake at 350 until heated through. IT'S GOOD!

I have a GREAT little recipe probram called Acook. But it won't work (print) with the new windows programs out and I can't figure out how to get it to print anything out. I have around 250-300 recipes in it and can't print any of them out!

never been a recipe guy. never seem to have the right ingredients whenever I decide to follow one. I tend to just grab whatevers close and toss it in. when I'm a he grocery store I tend to only grab the regulars. hopefully I can try a few things next year. I would definitely try some of those recipes in that thread.

Ha ha, none of my recipes require really UNIQUE items. I'm just an old country boy that is willing to try "OTHER" than normal type foods.

I just started trying some different stuff this year. sea salts and different peppers and what not... this particular site I worked on is supposed to be way, way beyond what I get into. I just hope to see something I can handle show up on it.

We've never used anything I consider exotic. cumin for example, or thyme and chives. Just the reicpes or the way we cook don't call for them.

haha, about the most "exotic" spice/herb we use is Oregano.

Boy wouldn't PB52 be running us down the road! He probably uses spices or herbs every day that I have never even heard of!

yup I mentioned sea salt and the reply I got mention more slats than I think I see at the grocery stores. but the lady who will manage the site is a chef for some big hotel. it's a daily thing for her to deal with "cyprus white flake sea salt, australian pink salt, kilauea black sea salt, etc..." that's just part of the message I go back when I mentioned sea salts.

Oh, 5:30 almost time to do the updates. Got to start gathering the numbers, which is actually the easiest part. Trying to make it entertaining, THAT is the hard part.
