Apparently my editor doesn't think the following excerpt from my article shows that I am taking this assignment seriously.



Scientist from the Institute for Soldier Nanotechnology at MIT determined putting something between your face and an explosion lessens the chance of getting hurt.

To get to this conclusion, they used computer simulations with high-tech names like coupled fluid–solid dynamic interactions and a three-dimensional biofidelic finite element model of the human head.

The team funded by the National Academy of Sciences for the United States of America released a study, conducted by multiple PHDs and fancy computer gadgetry, on explosions and how they affect the human cranium/brain. The result confirms the Ancient Greeks, who first began using face shields four centuries ago, were on to something.
