possibly. i don't know the details of this model.

When I started hunting with the 16 guage it was a Modified choke. I never felt hindered in any way. I just learned to use what I had.

I used it from about age 13 to about age 32 when I switched over to a 12 guage my Dad gave me.

Never hunted with anything but a single shot or a pump all my life.

No sane reason for it I guess,but I never trusted autos.

just found it. screw in chokes for all models but the .410.

I remember once when I was about 15 that a buddy and I got into an arguement. I told him that a pump could be just as fast as an auto. Well he had a remington model 552 speedmaster .22 and I had the 16. He got off 5 shots in the time it took me to get off 3 and I had closed the slide on my 4th round when he ran dry which signaled the end to the test.

i care less for automatics as the years pass. must be maturing.

Hey, Not a bad deal Mag. If you wanted a good using shotgun, I would say you found it. BUT check up on the price and availability of different chokes.

And I only short shucked the pump so few times that it isn't even worth mentioning. I could probably count on one hand the times I did that.
