Without getting in to deep of a religious debate ... and avoiding the question, "is there a creator;"

Religions were good when the only way for society to police the people was to put the fear of God, eternal damnation and being burned at the stake in their hearts. Now that we have police, judicial systems and the like, we have surpassed religions policing ability a thousand fold and made them obsolete in this category.

As for the need to believe... that's another story, but I don't need anyone or anything telling what is right and wrong. My parents and common sense tell me what is right and wrong.

I disagree, to a point, but that is good. I respect your views and Your words indicate you respect mine. This is good. See, Even Marines and Chairmen can agree on SOME things! Shocking huh? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

So how GI proof is the Solar Panel (see how I craftly changed the subject without you even knowing it).

WOW! I just went to the powerfilmsolar website. The 10W is 107 on amazon and the 20W is 262! BIG difference. (amazon was an option on the add page)

couldn't get it to play here at work but I figure it still worked with a hole or holes through it. Would the 10W be enough to power a portable radio (ok, never mind, I guess one would need to check the wattage on the tag).

Was it you that was talking about using the eneloop 2000mha batteries instead of the more powerful ones because ther 2K ones will last for more recharges?

I think that it was like 500 Vs 1000 or 1500 recharges.

I carry a radio that takes AA batteries, so yes. It will also charge a any other standard size batteries and just about anything that will plug into a 12v car lighter outlet.

I just watched a video of it charging an iPad.

The video shows them shoot a hole with a .40 Cal. Glock in each panel and it only lost 10 percent power, still plenty to charge with. Amazon had them at $100, then $175 and now $107. It fluctuates a lot for some reason. When it is near $100 it is better to just get two 10w and daisy chain them. They sell an connector for that and I don't recall it being very expensive. You could simply make one too.
