I thought by your location (Alpine) you were in Europe somewhere. We're getting a lot more European members here. I think it's GREAT!

Kinda like the Japan reactor stuff. Dont listen to the hype. The military tested 100s of nukes in Nevada and off the coast of CA over the years. If that didn't kill us all this won't either. The media will use this type of crap to pull our attention away every time Obama F's something else up so when they do this, better look at what Obama did that day--or any other official.
Like the news of the hundreds of birds that fell out of the sky last month? Ever hear anymore about that? Nope, it was a 2 day sheeple distraction and it worked beautifully.

Jeff, I've seen that a couple times, you are talking about sort of a classroom setting, right? That is it. Scary. Kinda has a feel to it like a Japanese propaganda film from WWII. Thing is most people won't get it. For example, look at the workbook that LACHINE posted of his sons, they are teaching English in pre-k. We can not get our students to speak English here. I think them learning English in pre-k says more about their realizing they need to adapt to the dominating Western governments in order to become an accepted part of the global community, than it does their work/school ethics.

I think you may be giving the media more credit than it deserves. Do you really believe the media is throwing smoke screens for Obama and not just sensationalizing stories to get ratings?

the current state of our government and issues here. I mean think about all the nukes that were tested in and off the shores of the US, why would the distribution from Japan be worse here? I am not talking about the suffering and travesty that the Japanese people are going through now. I was talking about the nuke radiation stuff.

Wrestling is something we don't see so much here in Europe - I tried BJJ for a few sessions but the instruction wasn't great and the price was crippling.

JJ, I understand the ratings deal. I just wish our government would address problems here like borders, stolen valor, things like that instead of scaring people into a stupor.
Believe me, I have had some recent experience with the media taking a "story" and messing people's lives up. Even when there was not cause, the damage has been done. The retract is generally so small and unnoticeable that people don't care. Basically yellow journalism in a different format.

Perhaps a little bit of both. I would not for a minute put it past the owners/editors of some media outlets to do a smoke screen because they like Body Odor. Plus I am sure there was some wanting to get more readership/listeners.
