We built a small pond below our house back in the 80's, but when my grandparents passed away it got left to my cousin. He promptly let a friend of his come out and fish, and that friend cleaned out the pond. I personally put in several Largemouth over 5 lbs and at least 2 Smallmouth over 4 lbs. There isn't a fish in it now, but he doesnt' allow anyone to fish there anyway.

Completely off topic, but this is Death Chat.
I did some color correcting on the bicycle I posted this morning and used GIMP Image Portable. It is a free program that doesn't require you install in the normal sense. It can run from a thumbstick or just a folder on your desktop. I had to put the memory card into the PC and then my thumbdrive for the program to edit the colors.
It just hit me, why not put the program on the camera's memory card? I just did, and it runs perfectly as always. Now I have an image editor program with me anytime I take pictures. I am now putting it on all my cards. At 57mb, it is worth the space.
I am not sure if any of you are photogs, but this program gets a 9 out of 10 in my book. It beats Photoshop due to the price difference. Hundreds of dollars vs free.

JJ, I bought one of the photoshop programs for Patty last year and it just overwhelmed her. What is the learning curve on Gimp? Right now she is using Picassa 3 through windows 7 We only paid $89.00 for it on sale.

Kn, around here, with certain restrictions, depending on who paid for the stocking of fish in your pond (theirs was not stocked by Govt) you don't need a license to fish in private ponds.

Right now she is using Picassa 3 through windows 7 We only paid $89.00 for it on sale. If Photoshop overwhelmed her, so will the GIMP. If it were more intuitive, I'd give a perfect 10 out of 10. It isn't for the newbie image manipulator.

I have the program on the thumbstick on my keychain for a while now. So, it isn't much different, just one small step less.
