Yah I mean what's the point of living life in a bubble. Injuries happen and I thank God I can at least get out and enjoy nature and not be stuck in a wheelchair. So I guess I can deal with some minor stuff <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. I will probably look back on saying this and think stupid kid that I was haha

think it's just a page back. one reason why I still haven't shot it yet. mag doesn't fit. glad I didn't damage new mags thinking it would be the answer.

may is sticking really bad and chewing up inside of the stock. problem went away the first time I removed the stock and when i took the stock off again it came right back. thought it was the magazine. the mag is pretty scratched up thinking I would locate the problem on my own. didn't see any info on the problem until a found a post about online. Springfield will pay for shipping and all. just not happy that it happened and with such a price tag.

Is your stock one of the new synthetic ones that SAI has started making instead of using the old GI fiberglass ones? I know Sportsman Guide has surplus wood stocks for a decent price. I know my dad ordered one last week so I will keep you up on that. Dad picked up a nice Poly Tech in a trade and is picking up fun stuff. The wood stock that came on it was Chinese soft wood and not worth a flip.

Sounds like the stock is putting pressure on op rod retainer--the little tit that sticks out, where the mag locks in on the front. Where is the mag getting scratched at?
At least SAI will take care of it. Call them up and have them send you a call tag.
