IF I have to bug out from the house, I'm probably in trouble. My plans pretty much assume that I'm home.

Once I get moved, I'll have to come up with a new plan.

Was she still living in the apartment or had she moved?

No, she moved a couple years ago when she got married. I don't know where she lives now, since they split up.

Oh and I misquoted earlier, it was 22 inches of rain the guy dumped out of his gauge not 24 inches.

Yeah the same here my cousin and his wife moved out of their house a couple of months ago and the house they had where we visited is completely gone. Just foundation. Luckily the new owners were away when it hit.

Still a lot of water, I hate getting flooded out. My buddies wife lost a ton of things so she bought a bunch of rubber maid boxes for their scrapbooks and pictures, negatives ect. And when their basement flooded the boxes floated and turned over letting water get in through the lids ruining everything. She was heart broken.

Three inches of water is a lot. I can't imagine 22 inches at one time

Oh MAN! I know how she feels. Patty is a photo nut. She loves taking pictures but lately with her hands being so shaky she doesn't take pictures like she used to. Before when we went to Mingo it was not unusual for her to take 2 or three hundred pictures. Now mind you, then the FULL drive portion is open it's about upwards of 45 miles for the whole drive, counting where you double back to get to another area. It usually took us about 5-6 hours to drive JUST the normal drive which is about 35 miles. When they open up what they call the auto tour it adds another 11 miles and we have been out there for 12 hours before on a really good photo op day.

She teaches at an elementary school right beside the U of A campus. I don't know if it got her school or not.

I hope the she and her new place both came out of it unscathed.
