yeah I know I was gone for 20 years, but I did of course keep up with things while I was gone. This rain has produced the most flooding (around our town and some other areas within about 25 miles) than anyone can remember.

The sheaths are almost as collectable as the knives themselves. You sure got that right!

Yeah I can't believe some of the work those guys put out. I would be afraid to use some of the ARTWORK they put out. I have leather and kydex sheaths, and for some purposes, some applications the kydex is by far the best choice. But My favorite is leather. Guess maybe it's because that's what I grew up using along with everybody else. Now we got leather, kydex and the relatives of it and nylon. BUT in my humble opinion, Leather is still and will always remain the KING OF SHEATH MATERIAL.
And with this I embrace a post count of 25,000! Man I talk to much!

Was just reading a local, regional news paper and came across this.
It is in reference to Wappapello lake, a lake about 50 miles away from us.
At summer levels, the lake covers about 8,400 acres. At current flood levels it has reached about 24,000 acres.
That's a lot of water, and some areas will be allowed to get to 398.5 ft in depth before they begin to release water from it at a rate of 127,500 gallons of water per second, yes, PER SECOND!
