I think the MCC program goes by belts, actually. I heard the Army is looking at incorporating a belt system, similiar to the Marines, that can be worn with the ACU uniform while in garrison. It will replace the standard Tan riggers belt. The Marines I believe are allowed to wear thiers with the MARPAT uniform, IIRC

I think there is a flint quarry near a mine that I plan on visiting for Herkimer Diamonds. If so I could stop by it.

I try to, I really need to get my weight down. I have a hard enough time running as it is, but carrying an extra 15 lbs (according to army standards) is killing my run times.

LOL, too funny. I'm a beast when it comes to push ups and I do just fine on my sit ups, it's the 2 mile that kills me. If I lost the weight, I should have a lot easier time not carrying it around with me. My Metabolism recently changed too, I went through a really bad time and started eating really poorly. eventually my body kinda quit burning it all up, and I packed on the fat weight. I used to be a mesomorph, but now I tend more towards an Endomorph body type. I have to learn to adjust my diet and exercise routines now...

I would go through the body builder (more muscle) mentality when I lifted, then I would stop for some reason and all my muscle gain turned to flab, so I would run to lose weight, I'd get skinny, then start lifting again to gain muscle and the cycle would start over!
