Its a complex thing.. for me posting can be frustrating. I am not the best typist, and I often am too lazy to type a lot of text... and that leads to misunderstandings, hurt feelings, etc... I just am not into fighting.... and defending an opinion often turns into just that.. not worth peoples feelings to me. so i go through phases of posting.. i want to chip in, but not tick anyone off...a paradox at times

most times i would rather read and pick up things... ideas, etc...

so far i have not see alot of bickering back and forth like on some other forums i have been on. It seems that the people are pretty good and the mods are on top of it.

I hurt my knee a few weeks ago and was laid up for about two weeks.. I could have posted a lot then.. but I slept mostly.. kind of loopy from the pain meds

but then again i have only really been involved here since march of this year.

are you back to normal now?

well there was some really raucous behavior some time back and some resultant house cleaning.. calmed things down a bit.. we did lose some interesting personalities though... but such is life... everyone seems to be calmer now..I feel more at ease posting...

Since reading the posts again I noticed a mellowing out.

i bet you are right. I guess it would be easy for people to mistake the real meaning behind a comment.

as normal as i get apparently.. back when i played football in high school I had hurt my knee and never did anything about it.. just with pain till it went away. Well after this last episode, i had an MRI, and the ortho told me that i have no ACL in my knee... no sense in surgery since i have lived thus far and have done many unusual things...he figures i can live another 40 years just like it is

This is my first forum that i have ever participated in to this degree. If it was not for the warm welcome i got on my introduction post i dont think i would be this commited to the group. i really feel at home here.
