the last cool stuff i found was at the north end of Charlotte harbor (in FLA) where the tides had eroded a site on an island... pottery shards everywhere in the water.. been wanting to go back with my tanks and look around some more

Sar,
Did you id the originals yet? not yet, i had them written down when i got them but the paper is now where to be found. Im hoping at rendevou this year i can get them id'd the two small ones in the right corner are not native american, they are sahare points from the neolithic period. what this means im told is that they are 4,000-6,000 years old. they are from the western sahara, mali mourittania. Due to the climate the points there are in remarkable condition. sorry for the long posts. I could have gotten about four hundred more posts with all of this

I haven't picked up a camera in over a month. I was burnt out badly. But now I can do the kind of work that I enjoy, even if I don't get paid for it. Pick it back up... take pictures for yourself... i got hooked in college on photography, but i was never more than an amateur.. its just a hobby. My college degree is in Fine Art Photography. I'll never give it up, but I prefer to work on my own terms.

Haha that was a good one! Yah I thought we were helping eachother to get to JYD haha. Dude how long have you been working with flint? Thats awesome. I got into it for about six months a couple of years ago. Then I got more involved in bikes and had less time for the outdoor skills i always loved. Now I am trying to get back into it. I need to get an old kiddie pool. It is recommend you knap in it to prevent the flakes from landing all over your yard, thing barefoot kids and dogs, owwwww.

Pottery -now you're talking rare! Pottery now that would be sweet. Once in a smalle creek in Kentucky at a campsite I found a fossil of a fern. Gave it to my mom. This was when I was younger btw. And she lost it
