I also remember going to this auction one time. Guy had died and there was a few knives there. One little boot dagger. Then kind you can get at the flea market for like 3 dollars. I was young. My dad said I could bid on it. I just remember my heart pounding and me being jittery over the excitement of trying to get that knife. Seems like I nodded my head 100 times a minute. Anyway it only got up to 10 dollars but I got the knife! awesome... i'll bet you can still recall that thrill Yah I sure can! By the way I forced the patina on the HB knife. Its not a natural patina lol. I remember that style of blade.. I always liked those... It is a great place... I am too out of shape for the treks right now... trying to get my son to go do one... 9 days with your team.. no adults with them 70 -90 miles upwards of 14000 feet in places...
