Oh and with the salad we use MAYONNAISE not miracle whip and bit of mustard. AND sometimes we put just a spot of bacon bits in it, just for a slight flavoring.

gonna grill up some ribs ... i don't need the bbq sauce so i marinate them in italian dressing and cook them on the grill... pretty good Never had ribs anyway but BBQ. Sounds like something I should try sometime. I had to lay off the bbq sauce.... too much sugar... the italian dressing has all the herbs and seasoning you could want.... brown them on the grill .. excellent.. i have bbq sauce on the side for my son... If you have a smoker they are even better ... I have been doing them that way for years

I thought of Sweet Baby Rays but Patty doesn't like a sweet taste and I've never had Rays before.

somebody posted up a SIMPLE recipe for ribs in the cookbook thread. Basically do it all in the oven, he says the meat almost falls off the bones! It was a fairly recent post.
