I've always had a hatred of Apple products, could never do anything I wanted to do on them. What's your experience been?

A friend of ours has a netbook, been thinking about borrowing it just to play with here. She is the one had the strokes and can't remember how to play the farmville game on fb anymore. She also has a full size laptop and a desktop so I wouldn't be depriving her of anything.

Very good , been using an iPhone for about 2 years now, works as good if not better than any other phone I've ever used, I just got the iPad as an early birthday gift, I'm enjoying it so far

Ok dumb question, but isn't the Ipad really nothing more than a fancy Netbook?

I like those net books, if I didnt play the occasional game, I would have one instead of a laptop

I guess it's just my engineering mind, I just hate the lack of ability to do what I want, which is usually the stuff that Apple makes its lowest priority.

Kinda, the iPad is a tablet I guess, no keyboard ( all touch controls)

I think I would just use the netbook for here, it DOES NOT work for farmville, I found that out when Patty was in the hospital a couple months for observation.

Ipad is closer to a scaled up Iphone. If you want a tablet that is similar to a computer, go for the EEE tablet.
