Skunk, Yes mine is set up as a throw and go. Its too heavy to wear all the time. With that and my regular gear I'm carying around 60-65 lbs of stuff. That doesn't include an extended stay bag and entry tools.

Hart, I do not have a sheath for a shiva rex. They are fairly easy to make though.

I don't know what you do for a living, however I would suspect a lot more people out there are carrying bear and elk calibers.

MB, I knew you didn't wear it all the time but didn't know if is was a civilian clothes situation (you just rolled up on something or didn't have time to change) or if it was part of your SHTF gear.

Shunk the gear is for work. I have it sitting to where I can get it on and get to the threat to neautralize it.
Outside of work I go for light and fast. Avoidance is the name of the game.
