It was a good suggestion, but one I can't do. At least not well. I am thinking something like this would go well with the gold inlay on the blade. ![[Linked Image from compositeenvisions.com]](http://compositeenvisions.com/images/yellow%20carbon%20fiber%20kevlar%20panel.jpg)

That would look good JJ.
Just get some cheap materials to practice with, stick to simple designs at first and move up.

I have experience working with CF. It isn't too hard to shape. All I need to do is remove the handle and use it as a template.

AND if you could find a gold barrel spacer for the pin in the end of the handle.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I was talking about for inlays. Is CF similar tow wood in terms of shaping? How are you planning on shaping it?

I've seen it all now. The Marine Corps band from New Orleans is on Fox and Friends playing JAZZ! Just don't seem right.

Rotary tool and sand paper. Sounds similar to wood.
