I was using my beater camera. Its actually a richer color and really black blade. I like it. Now I have to talk my Dad into coming out of retirement for a few sheaths.

finally found the next rifle I want to put try to grab whenever the fund loosen up.

I would do a Mini-30 almost exactly like this one. Looks very much like my M1A and would hopefully give me decent enough accuracy in the round that I want. Plus its a platform so similar enough to my other rifles that it only makes sense.

For the sheath I'm thinking a dark Mahogany with a touch of burgundy. I tend to go with pretty simple leatherwork. Nothing to flashy.

I really want an M1A but I want alot of different things. So it may be a while.

I was looking at that one a while back. looks like a good deal. it just overlaps my m1a in too many ways for me to have both I think. It fits the bill on everything except semi auto.

only has 5 round mags. If they do a 10+ rounder it might take the place of a .357/.38 lever action on my list of wants.

Ah thats cool. I need to get a .308 though cause I dont want to add another calibur. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> And unfortunately I dont own a 357. I do want a revolver though.

I have one 308. Its a tack driver.

I hate to admit it but I have had my M1A just under a year now and still haven't fired it yet. Got busy, mag wasn't inserting right, and between being a little bummed about it I just never made the time to go ship it off. I don't shoot my rifles as much as I should. I get plenty of time with my pistols though. Being an instructor has its benefits.
