Milsurps are my favorites. Enfields, Nagants, US 03/O3A3, Mausers, Arisaka, and then Carcanos. In that Order.

lazi, when Mag was looking he was going to SARCO which is located up by him. He would be able to go in and pick his which is the way I would want to do it at SARCO. Then again, NJ has a lot of bad laws to contend with so who knows. Good and bad of the deal.

I just looked to see when the next gun show was. It's next weekend. Just so happens I'll be put of town all next week. I completely worked right through the last one. looked up and it was 25 minutes to closing and wouldve taken me 30 minted to get out the door. there's one end of august. Maybe I'll even have some money by then...

but I'm only telling myself to buy 7.62x39, 9mm, or .22lr if I am to buy anything. That's what I just keep telling myself....

7.62x54r is cheap when you can get it for about 150 bucks for 880 rds. And you tend to shoot it slower and less since it is more fulfilling!

Like the difference in drinking a light beer and a Guinness.

A local guns magazine once tested how strong mosin nagant m91 was. The load that managed to break the gun was loaded with dynamite instead of gun powder!

Oh, one more thing: good morning!

MB, here is some justification.

The Russians, Finn's and even Americans have been dropping big game with the 54r for many decades--including moose, grizzly, and polar bear.

BTW, if you want a 91 Nagant made in the US there was the New England Westinghouse and Remington made ones. They NEW and Remmys were contract rifles for the Czarist government in WWI. Many were never delivered and sold off as surplus here in the States, and the ones that were delivered ended up in the Arch Angel area and eventually in the hands of the Finns.

Dont want to add any new rounds but I'm still feeling I need to cover some hole before I'm can be done.

1MOA .308 -> Remy 700
9mm -> FNX9
SHTF/Meat Grinder -> Mini30
Nice Revolver - S&W 686
Lever Action - Marlin 1894CSS
.22lr pistol -> ??? Would like more than 10 rounds so options are limited
