Thanks Randy! I have the Bussekin knives in that new rolling storage chest I bought some time back. Now I have a little more room for my emergency/survival supplies.

I like the dog tag the came with your tali Whacker. It would be nice if the guys could put out another run somehow indicating it's the 10th anniversary of this great tragedy but still retain the information on the back.

I know that you guys do the garden thing, and I am guessing it isn't a real small one. I also assume (yeah yeah I know) that y'all can stuff. Have you ever canned meat? I can remember as a kid my grandmother canning chicken, beef and pork.

We have not canned any meat, although we know that it can be done. I just buy cans of chicken and beef chunks, freeze-dried and regular, along with canned hams and chicken chunks along with ham chunks and lots of tuna fish. The beef chunks with gravy can be a quick, easy, and tasty meal with some dehydrated mashed potatoes and a vegetable.

Course Grandma and Grandpa had a real root celler. They had a bin in the back that was about 2 ft tall, maybe 3-4 ft front to back and about 8 ft long. Every year it would be pretty full of potatoes and you could just watch them go down as the year progressed.

And of course they canned all the "Normal" stuff as well.

We've got to eating some a canned sausage gravy. Put it over Toast and it's almost like SOS! Then all ya gotta do is add some eggs and a couple sausage links and you've got the REAL breakfast of champions!

my limited experience with bbs control panels makes me think that when you stickied the thread and set to the other forum that permissions where copied from one of the other top sticky threads. those probably only have permissions set for moderators and admin. maybe just see if you can change the permissions. I've only setup a few phpBB boards so don't know if the the control panel is similar UBB.
