Caz the one i am lookijg at is the 5 inch blackhawk convertible 45-45lc with the thinner colt size grip.

I like the Ruger convertibles. The one I got was used to rob a bank in council bluffs Iowa back in about 1985 or 86.

I think I'm gonna pick up a Glock 23 soon. Same size as my -19 so it'll use the same holsters and such.

** BRAIN FART! IT was a small town just out the back gate of Offutt AFB in Omaha!

Anyway there was this gunshop I went to all the time and one year for western days they were going to do a reenactment of a bank robbery that happened back in the wild wild west. I had just bought this gun and a western rig. The cops are the ones that were going to rob the bank and one of them wanted to use my rig. He told me I could keep all the money from his cut but he never told me the "Money Bags" were filled with CANDY! Everybody had a good time though so it was worth it. And how many folks can truthfully say their gun was used in a bank robbery (even though it was a fake robbery) They shot blanks and rode in on horses and everything.

RTH if you can find a police trade in in the 23 it might save you some money .

I got the first one in this part of the state, the gunshop had to special order it and then wait for the backlog to catch up.
