I got my DMT Dia sharps in and have been practicing with them. I was able to lay a scary sharp edge on my Kershaw JYD. But I'm having problems getting my bevels perfectly the same on each side and also when I'm sharpening with the flip side I keep ending up with a slight double bevel. I can't keep my wrist at the right angle. Do you push the blade on one side then pull on the other using the same hand or do you oush both sides and swap hands. Any tips?

I suck at sharpening, so I won't offer advice on how to do it. At least you were able to get a scary sharp edge; you're ahead of me.

You should read knifeknuts threads over on BF he might not want to brag but I don't even qualify as a newb around him. He does some rediculous things with abrasives and steel.

Thanks.
I'll take a look, but I'll probably stick to the tried and true method of having someone else do it for me.
