Sorry about the delay but the vicodin knocked me out mid- reading. Recovery is going slow but steady, the doctor called to change the warfarin to a lower dose of 7.5 blood is still a little to thin. Got the hip to worry about plus the blood thinners so between the two it just takes all my patience.

Don't know about the hip problem, but the Anticoagulant (warfarin) can be a real chore and VERY frustrating. As I said, Patty takes 4mg and 3mg, 4 days and 3 days a week respectively. PLUS a baby aspirin a day. Works for her.

Hopefully we will get it straightened out, I go for blood work tuesday and they will let me know. I know when they started me on the injections and coumadin in the hospital the inr wouldn't budge from 1 then once home and on the lovenox and warfarin it took a couple of weeks to get it thinned out but now they've reduced it twice now because it is to thin. Like you said, it's a process to get it right. As for the hip it takes time, therapy,ice and motrin and vicodin. Most importantly don't push to hard.
