I used to be a freelance photographer for the newspapers around here, and it's tough not knowing when your next paycheck is coming. Don't think I could go back to it unless I just had to.

Susan has an interview Thursday that she's pretty psyched about. I'm hoping that something comes through for her. Her job is a lot of our problem, getting all stressed out there and coming home all wound up.

Stress can cause all sorts of problems.

well I don't have a family so I can get away with a lot. it's not for a person who has to be stable for any reasons. my latest gig might actually mean some traveling has to be done. im ready.

but I really just can see going back to the day to day. and after being away from it and being on the outside looking in... well it's just pretty sad.

More than I need, that's for sure. I've got enough stress at this job without dealing with hers too.

And just normal living causes a lot of stress now days, additional introduced stress isn't good by any means.

stress is what lead to me leaving my old job. definitely not something to hang onto for too long. my advice is to write down what the source is and address the best you can. in my situation leaving was the best option. still taking my lumps but I can sleep easier knowing I'm working towards something.

I guess I'm lucky. I like what I am doing, guess I should since I've been doing it since Jan of 1994! Don't get me wrong, there is some stress but it is just usually transitory. There have been a few times where it had the possibility of becoming personal, but it was ended without my wife or I either one becoming personally (physically) involved.

I can take the stress involved here, it's not that bad unless there are underlying circumstances. But I go home to get away from stress, not have it piled on me.
