Howling Scrap? I would buy one. Or two.

I don't think I'll get one of those since I already have a HR and it's pretty similar. But I'll be getting a SR micarta howler though.

This is really breaking my morale,
I was hoping that with the Scrapyard, the Busse family would get a little bit away from the one knife at a time custom shop type of operation and run a line of maybe three or four knive that people could choose from based on needs and results of other knives owned not just the opportunity to buy and the desire to own a Busse family knife.

Now that I have put my .02 in I have a question to ask on this question thread, is there any estimate as to when we would be able to get a sub 4" blade from the yard, folding would be a bonus, but I have room for a fixed also(it's a really small safe you see).

Thanks,
ps I almost fell out of my chair when I saw how affordable the knives currently being offered are, looks to me like the Scrapyard will empty out quick.

Hi Nate,

It is my understanding that the Scrap Yard and the Swamp will build up their offerings so that they have a choice of knives in inventory. The Scrapper 6 and M6 just being the first blades to be in stock. As far as what's next? I hope it's the Howler. OOH! or a Dog Shaker (Tail Wagger?)

That sounds good, being able to get a replacement for a knife allows for different uses, and mods. I know that if I am fond of a knife and there are no more available I would be more restrained as to how I use it than I would if I knew I could put an order in and get it replaced in a couple of weeks. It will also allow for a lot more gift giving, I also don't like to give a gift that I do not have first hand knowledge of, so after I try a couple out I may buy some for the guys in my family that are need of a blade.

Would they then have a "Dog Pile?"

This is one time where it would be nice to be in the "dog house"! I would advise against chewing on one of the "dog treats" however.

So we could see quite the variety of blade steels coming in the near future? Will there be much advance warning or is it more a case of check the doghouse daily for current kibble updates? (couldn't resist it, sorry!)
Blaine.
