I'm limited to under $10k, so I may end up with a 1200 Sportster or find a used Soft Tail in my price range. What I REALLY want is out of my range at the moment. A V-Rod is what I was lusting over. I hear ya. It'll be a long time before I can afford a bike. I'm looking at a wedding next year so there goes my extra change...and all of my money for that matter. For the rest of your life! I'd gladly take a standard like a Honda Nighthawk if they still made them, as long as it was at least 1000 cc.

I don't know what I'm listening to Yote but I love it. I used to listen to 'evenings become eclectic' on npr and this has hints of that. I've got a new favorite internet radio, thanks. Good thing I ordered some new earbuds.

Only problem is that by regulation she has to play 35% canadian content, and we don't have a lot of good metal bands
