Do you actually have the juvie or just a report? It's kind of scary everytime I see a missing juvie on the news, especially in todays world.

Caz, We actually have her. She is listed by the state she is missing from as statewide pickup only so I guess it's not that serious. She is 16 and I will be sending them a message as to her address (only information they requested).

Well that's good news. Seems now days when anyone goes missing it is bad in the end, maybe those are the only ones reported by our wonderful media folks.

Shock sells. The worse a situation is the better the media in general likes it. sensationalism sells in print or other media, unfortunately. I try and not pay to much attention to certain things, I see them all the time.

IF I remember correctly (haven't been a cop for over 10 years) In Missouri once a missing person has been physically contacted, unless there are extenuating circumstances involved, they are officially no longer missing as long as the contact is reported to the original entering agency.
