He's actually lost most of his puppy fluff, so he doesn't get as hot when he goes outside anymore, and I think he is getting used to the heat a bit as well

Sorry it took me so long to respond back to you. I remembered my CS Magnum Kuk machete in the jeep under the seat.

I went and got it and Oh boy, was it is bad shape. Back when we had that 24 inch rain, somehow the jeep leaked and the carpet got wet under the rear seat (that is down in the cargo hauling mode. RUSTY! Was trying to get the rust off it and sharpen it up some and as I got to looking at it, the non mark side has a nice even bevel. The OFF mark side is almost a flat grind, as in NO bevel. The edge is smooth but it is off to one side, BAD. Oh well it's at least sharp, sorta for a machete again even if the edge is off center.

Were you able to get anything?

Man all this machete talk is got me thinking I need one. When I was a teenager I bought a cheap one at a deptment store for about $5 then, never remember what happened to it. I was watching resident evil afterlife and now I really may need one.

I don't like my CS Magnum Kuk Machete because the "Plastic" handle is so hard and abrasive it is ridiculous! It will tear your hand up in just a few swings. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

When I was 17 or 18 I bought my first "ninja sword" from The Collectors's Armory, they sold replica swords and armour as well as non firing firearms. That was the beginning of my love of all weapons, I still have that sword as well as a couple of there katana and wakisashi.

Haha, I've still got the "Katana" that I chased a guy out from trying to break into my house in the Philippines. Believe me, you DO NOT want to be an "American" chasing a Filipino down the street at about 3-4 in the morning with a 2 foot sword in your hand. Do you have ANY idea how big the business end of an M-16 looks when you got 3 of them pointed at you?

Yup about 10 minutes after they ORDERED me to go home (one of my "HOOD" neighbors was with them and kept me out of trouble) I heard shots. I heard later they caught him trying to break into another GI's house but I didn't think it wise to ask if they killed him or not.

Oh did I mention this was back in the middle 70's and there was a Curfew and NON Filipinos were not allowed on the Neighborhood watch program (they patrolled the neighborhood from about midnight until 0600).
