Nah, I passed. I have three in the 5 inch range already so didn't think I need to get another (I only have two hands)so I have a spare blade. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yea, I passed as well. I also have too many 5" blades. It seems that the Basic 6 should really be the Basic 5, as the cutting edge length is only 5". I'm glad I passed, but it's still a cool knife.

I still haven't decided on the 5-11.

What are you doing this AM?

Personally I would have gone for the 511 over the basic 6. I'm not one really for "Flash" and to me most of the Busse Combat blades are in that category (at least on my salary)! But If I had a deal on a B11 like the one I had to pass on I would jump on it even if I had to sell my DFCG.

I like the shape, I haven't heard much as far as user reviews on it, but is hope it's better than the knife they put out with his name on it

Yeah, the Basic-11 is really sweet. Still, I absolutely love my DF. I took it out yesterday for some fun. It was the first time I actually used my own dogfather. What an incredible piece of steel!!

The B-11 is a better bushwhacker as it thins out after the spine. Now if the Basic-10 came in CG, I would definitely take that first. I'll probably get one, but I don't think it will see much use while I still have my dogfather.

I had the BG Parang for a little while. You get what you pay for. It's OK.
