I passed on the B6, got a 5-11 though ( not sure about it yet) it's that blade size where it's ok at small tasks ( fuzzy sticks, etc) but can't chop and I have a couple different scandis that do small tasks better

I like the shape, I haven't heard much as far as user reviews on it, but is hope it's better than the knife they put out with his name on it You mean "The ultimate survival knife?". Before I sold him a Boss Jack, that was my friends only fixed blade. It was pretty junky. He's now in love with Busse & Kin. I bet he already ordered a 5-11.

Yeah it (the parang) has got a lot of favorable reviews that I've seen on Utube etc and read reviews of. YUP only $30.00 but for a beater that I wouldn't be afraid to actually use around rocks and such, I think it would work out pretty well.
