I traded for a ruger 22/45 4inc fluted barrel and tru glo sights , it shoots good enough and feels grate in the hand but have had a few times of malfunctions. I think iam going to sell it and pick up one of the sigs .

No experience with the 22/45, but I have a MkII Slabside that is awesome. I've never had it malfunction in the 10 years or so that I've had it. Shoots like a dang rifle if you can hold it steady enough.

Ruger is one of my favorite manufacturers. Not real fond of their centerfire semi-auto's, but their rimfire stuff and their revolvers are hard to beat.

I had an early 229 in 40sw when I had my FFL but let it go, I have never been into the 40s as a personal preference. I prefer the 9 and 45 but do have a sweet ruger vaquero in 45lc. My 220 is an early 220st that have converted into a sport model.

My mother told me if didn't have anything nice to say then don't say anything but that never stopped me before.

I can remember selling a few ruger p89 and was never fond of their method of takedown or their whole blocky design.

I sold off a bunch of my stuff when my wife and I split, only pistols I have left now are my Glock 19 and my Ruger MkII.

My Pride and Joy Sig is my P225. First Sig I ever owned. And to show how small a world this is I was in contact with Tedwca for a while on some stuff and mentioned that gun to him and went on to say back in the mid 90's I had some work done on it by a guy named john Quintrall (I may have his last name wrong after all these years). Anyway he was one of the PREMIER sig smith's of the time and he mistakenly put a 11 degree crown on the barrel. come to find out John Q is out of the gunsmithing business and is working with Ted for a fruity computer company!

The 225 is the first Christmas gift I ever bought for my wife, she loves it but not the factory grips because of the checkering. You would think with the number of 225s out there that hogue would offer up a set. If I had it to do over I think I would have got her the 239.
