Not much goes on at night, especially in the colder months. Have to have something to pass the time.

Ryan, here's the story.

A few summers ago we had a REALLY bad problem with Skunks in our neighborhood. I'm just talking about the houses on the north and south side of our street and one block long.

Anyway I get a call from a preacher friend of ours that lives at the end of the block. He has a skunk in his yard. Now he knows I have a nice pellet rifle (RWS Diana model 45 .177) that spits out about 1000fps. Anyway I go down there, see the skunk about 15-20 yards away walking away from me. I sight in on the back of his head and BLAM, down he goes. But all I did was sever his spinal cord cause his front legs are still working and he's trying to crawl off but his back end isn't working. I walk up to about 10 feet and plant another one in his head. Dead skunk, no stink. Well over the summer I killed a total of I think 9 skunks all total and folks just started calling me the Skunk hunter.

Out of all those skunks, I only had one to spray and that was very little. I felt very fortunate. Oh and the city killed 3 and the guy across the street got one with a 20ga shotgun.

No plungers were harmed in this story.

NICE! Good story. Dispatchers eh? Very cool.

Oh and the plunger actually shooting is something JJ (Jarheadjournalist) did for me one night and he is hosting it for me in his photo account. I think he did rather well. He had one that shot a lot faster but this, the slower one, has more of a surprise factor the first time you see it.

That just means we're good at talking.....

Oops, the wife just spilled some kind of dye on her shirt and is very upset about it. I better do the consoling husband thing.
