I guess so, but I like autos better. I have a 3 inch smith model 60 Smith that is sweet but I don't carry it very much. Revolvers just seem "Off" to me. And I can't really explain it any better than that.

That's funny because I am the same way. The vaquero is my only revolver, I have always been a semi-auto guy, handguns and revolvers.

I've got several handguns to choose from, but no matter what I carry or for how long, I always eventually come back to my Sig P225.

I suppose for me it has always been the ease of reloading the semi. I guess like everything else it delends on feel.

Yeah, that's true. Some folks say that a revolver "Points" more naturally for them than an auto does.

I have a few to choose from as well but usually always go with my sig 228 it's my pride and joy. I have thought about having it refinished but I know it doesn't need to be pretty, just reliable.

Yeah, My 225 was the first Sig I ever had. Bought it used from someone a guy here at work knew. Sent it off about a year after I got it to John Quintrall in California who was one of the premiere Sig smith of the time. He has since quit the business and is working for Apple, matter of fact he works with Tedwca! Anyway he slicked it up and put in a new trigger and made it ultra reliable and a lot smother action, but it is one of the old action styles and just does not lend itself to being as slick as the newer models. I would LOVE to have one of the Sig 22's.

Yeah the sig 22 is on the list as the next firearm purchase, well maybe if I find that 9mm 1911 it will be a coin flip. I took my 228 down to Novaks to have him put a set of his low mount night sights on . I have had all the springs replaced and I put a short trigger in, big difference.

I had night sights and put on my 225 as well and the John installed a different short trigger and polished all the bearing surfaces just like a mirror. It is a LOT slicker than it was, but as I said it is old style internals and just can't be made as slick as the newer ones.

I think I need to start practicing with my Browning Buckmark. Get some more mags and hit the back country for some practice.
