I have mashed cat. They are very well made and I like the signature drainage hole and imprint. I had swore them off before I had a micrometer. I got one of his sheaths for my SFNO LE, and on first insertion it came out with several Kydex rubs. Turns out my SFNO LE is .23" not .22". Pretty sweet <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. The sheath still works fine and is of the highest quality.

Azwelke makes some really good stuff as well, but he doesn't have the options that some others do.

I think what I like most about Rainwalkers Kydex is that it is flat on one side and therefore rests more comfortably on the leg. Also, Rainwalker is a really great guy to deal with and he is very flexible. I'm sure if you came up with some crazy idea that no one had done before, Rainwalker would work with you to create it.

I have never had a folded kydex sheath but might buy on for my SOG mini pentigon boot knife. it comes with a layered sheath but its not very good for in the boot wear.

my camo 511 is my first knife that I am getting custom kydex for but it will probably become a habit

Layered sheaths can be nice, especially for smaller blades.

And wait time with Rainwalker is 3-4 weeks, sometimes less. I ordered the DF sheath August 18th I think, and then threw in the NMSFNO a couple weeks ago.

I thought the folded would be harder to use but the folded might be better for edc

As long as you have a teklok, there's really no need. I have my Rodent Solution attached to MOLLE webbing on the strap of my pack @ 45 degrees using a folded sheath & large tek-lok.
