If there is one firearm I actually need it is a 12gauge shotgun. IF I could have only one, it would probably be the 9mm. But at the same time something that can shoot 38spl and 357mag interchangeably would be nice. It would probably come down to a decision of which round was more readily available in your local area.

I see all kinds of deals in the FS sections of various gun forums. I like to deal local but when you start talking $100+ it's hard not be okay with waiting a few days. I still need to find a FFL to work with me but I plan to make a point to look at the FS stuff more often.
The xdm i like but the standard xd doesn't fit me right, if i do get a 9mm i like the hk p30l just not the 9oo $ price tag. i just want the 9mm for cheaper shooting so i am waiting on a no brainer deal to get one.

Personally I want a "Riot gun" in 12 gauge. By that I mean as close to an 18 inch barrel as I can get. 6 or 7 round magazine. Dual action bars. Butt stock with a pistol grip, I REALLY like this option as I think it makes it a lot easier to "Handle". Sights, I'm fine with just a bead on the barrel but if it has a rear sight or "Ghost ring" I would be ok with that as well.

would prefer not to add anything unless it's 9mm or 7.62x39 And something in a powerful handgun which doesn't have to be all that practical. Which is why I'm thinking about the .40 super conversion.
Unfortunately I can do the impulse buy thing so who know what may come home with me. I saw a couple really sweet M1 rifles but remembered I'm looking at basically what I have covered in the Sub2000.
I always wanted the mossberg mariner but think the black would be a be option. On the cdnn site they have a nice remington and a sweet looking charles daly.
