 Yeah, I cooked, we had country cured fried ham and eggs! Yum!! Go check out my Rainwalker Rocks thread, and then buy sheaths from him <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> they are pretty amazing. (no I'm not being paid by Jeff to say that.)

Ryan I posted in your other thread but I will say it here as well. The RMD is an entirely different creature, maybe the most comfortable grips ever and the blade profile is different than the 511. If you get the chance to handle one you will see what I mean. I saw that. I know I'll get one some day. Canvas micarta is my go to handle material for smaller blades. Eric said the RMD should be around until the end of the year at least. I'm sure I'll find some time in there to grab one, but now is not the time. I just saw that Eric said he took them down in the store until the next batch get done. ZBut he said they will be around.

Flux, already got you beat. ON his gallery there is a black dangler sheath with double X loops. I'm getting one like that made for my BullDog but the sheath body is going to be a maroon/burgandy color and the X loops, the loop at the bottom (made to accept a 1 inch nylon strap) and the dangler part that attaches to your belt will be black.

I figure in another week I'll be able to sit at the work bench and work on some leather sheaths, I've got a few naked blades here and to broke to buy any until I get back to work.

I think they are for carry at different heights. I THINK they are on both sides of the sheath. Funny, I never thought to ask! But no big deal though although if they were on both sides it could be worn without the dangler on either side.

And nice work on ordering that sheath! I'm sure it'll be worth the wait! The X-loops are for many things, attaching to gear, attaching a piggy back sheath or pouches, running a thigh strap through, etc. etc.
