Oh man, ANY of those CG NMSFNOs would work for me. IF they were about 200 cheaper. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Yeah, those are priced pretty high. I got mine in the discount section because it had one tiny barely noticeable blemish <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

You've mentioned both a time or two...dozen <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> The grip reminds me of the skinny ash which I didn't like <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> The machining is similar, but the shape is very different as far as the pommel goes. It's the scales I found uncomfortable, they just didn't feel right to me and I didn't want to mod it.

Wow, not as expensive as I thought they would be, but still 300 for me now is a lot for a blade that will wind up being more of a wall hanger than a belt hanger!

My skinny was $315 in the store and it was the most I had ever paid for a blade of any kind. My one off ASH was a lot, $397 off the exchange, but I made up for it by scoring a Chuddy Bear sheath for $40. Plus I love the knife. To be honest, I haven't used it enough even though I love it so much.

All Joking aside, I could get one if I really wanted one, but I would rather get some that are not as expensive and spend or let Patty spend the money on something she wants. She had a very poor childhood and she can get so excited about little things. Like today, she bought a little Halloween (snow) globe for just a dollar and was so tickled.
