I'll live. Iced it down yesterday, its a little better already. I'm just not doing a lot for a few days.

I have been told to ice it down for a day maybe two to reduce the swelling then use heat to get the blood flowing into and out of it. Don't really understand it, but that is what I have been told by folks in the medical field.

I was out when you guys were talking cars but my car impulse buy was a 92 chevy beretta gtz quazar blue 5 sp quad 4, I was in love at first site. I drove 50 miles to a dealership in PA to look at blazers and I had called and they said we got plenty, I walked out to go look at some and I glanced to my left and there it was just, it had just come of the truck that morning and I said what is that. I said get the keys and we took it for a test drive when we got back I handed them the keys to my car and said I'll take it. A few years ago I started looking for one again and found a few but realized it would be a mistake.

Yeah, just keep it elevated and get that swelling out of it, it makes sense what skunkhunter says about getting blood flow back into it to heal it.

Hey cazio, what part of southern PA do you live close to? I'm in Philly.

I still ice my hip several times a day and have since the surgery, did the same on the other hip. There is still swelling, the only time there is heat is before they have me start the exercises at therapy and then I ice it when I get home.

I live about 35 miles west of pittsburgh just across the border. I go up quite a bit for just about everything, especially vehicles they move in volume so they will deal with you.
