Sorry Tom. I had to call someone in to replace me about a quarter to 6. Patty's throat started swelling up on her again and had to go to the emergency room! Same ole same old. Steroid and benadryl shot and she's good to go! Her Allergist said we may never find out what triggers it as it only happens a few times a year.

Unfortunately we are used to it now, USUALLY when she feels it coming she can pop a couple benadryl and she's ok, but this morning is one of the rare occasions when it didn't work. Oh and yeah it IS scary.

Started raining here yesterday evening, rained all night and so far today and supposed to continue through tonight! At times they were reporting rain at a rate of 3 inches per hour!

Yeah she NOW (since February) has to carry and Epi pen, but hasn't had to use it yet. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

I used to carry one when I was an EMT. They're great for stuff like that. Never had to use it though.
