while i'm raining, might as well pour and let you know i was passing a double parked minivan and got hit with the crossing double solids penalty. they were filling a pothole up the street too, so the cop checked the "construction zone" box to double my fine. the four points on my license is what drove me to get a lawyer on this, not the fine. my car insurance is already insane since i'm a relatively young single male with a benz.
