If I don't like what I see I'll just delete it, no biggie. But what I love about the DVR is that I can skip through all the commercials that seem to be stuffed into a premiere like this.

DVR is great it allows us to record shows that are on later and at the same time , then we watch them later in the week.

I want to get a DVR. I have no idea what they run $$$ wise.

We watch so little TV at home that it wouldn't even be worth it to us if they were only $100.00.

With the hours I work a lot of the shows I would like to keep up on I miss.

Ours was free from DirecTV, and costs either $5 or $10 a month. I love it, and use it a lot because of my hours and schedule.

I am wondering if I can pick up one at an electronics store. I will have to check into them. With the 2nd season of the walking dead coming up.

TiVo is a regular DVR, you can buy it at the electronic store. If you're on DirecTV or Dish Network, they'll fix you up with one.

I have direct TV. But I'm betting I can get a tivo for 80 bucks.

I THINK you still have to have a subscription with TiVo. Not 100% sure though.

With TiVo don't you have to pay for some kind of service or something?

That shows how far I am behind the times.
