Not too bad. I had a great weekend with the family and goofed around all day today.

I'm ok, be doing better if I had gotten enough sleep today. Only slept about 4 hours, so I'm hurting. But if I can make it till morning then I'm off a couple days.

I took the week off.

Lucky you! I don't guess I'll be off anymore till the week of Thanksgiving. That's opening week of deer season here.

I took the family camping and watched the Elk fight and bugle. We saw a lot of neat stuff.

Just hope my ankle heals up by then. I twisted it pretty bad a couple weeks ago, still isn't right. I think I may have pulled my Achilles tendon, that's where the pain is concentrated. I can walk ok on flat ground, but it hurts. I haven't tried getting back in the woods yet.

That doesn't sound like fun. My knee was out while I was bow hunting at the begining of the month. It feels good now though.

I wanted to go camping one more time before cold weather gets here, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. My wife's schedule got changed, and now she's only off on Sunday-Monday and is working 5 days a week. No more three day weekends for us to go camping on, and she doesn't have any vacation time.

I saw a black Elk this weekend. I have never even heard of one before. He was a small bull. Pretty crazy looking. I thought it was odd that a moose was standing with a couple of bull Elk until he put his head up and I got a good look at him.

I wish I could have gotten a pic but it was too far away. I good a good look at it through my spotting scope though.
