I'm heading up to the hills Monday or so, at least gonna drive up the parkway and look around. I don't think the leaves are changing for another few weeks, but I just like being up there.

That would be so neat to stand and watch. Forget shooting one, I'd just like to see that.

It was pretty neat. The day before we watched 5 moose in a field.

I didn't know there were moose down that far.

Yep. I had seen one where I hunt which is really far down for them. Dad sent me a pic of 2 of them within 10 miles of where I hunt. They traded a bunch of Elk for a few moose years ago and they have really taken hold in the State. The area I hunt Elk in is prime Moose country. We have had the odd one move through now and again but they are here to stay.

Very cool! Someday I'll see your part of the country. Hope it's someday soon.

I like watching them. I was on a mission to spot a moose in Colorado about 10 years ago. I went north up to the Never summer wilderness and within ten minutes spotted a cow with a calf. Since then I see them every year.

I'm so sleepy I can't hardly hold my head up. And I've got 5 more hours to go....tough night ahead.

Having to get up and walk around every little bit just to stay awake. That isn't fun at all.
