I would really like to go to Shoneys and eat at the breakfast bar, but I'll stuff myself bad there. Only costs $3.50 if we're in uniform...

I like a crossiant, but I don't think I've ever had one from Burger King. Usually make them at home out of a can.

The BK ones are pretty good, considering. They also have ham and bacon too.

Susan doesn't like bread, of any kind. Me, I like biscuits or rolls with supper no matter what I'm having. The croissants are pretty good too. But it just makes the meal to have a little bread to go with it.

Breads and Croissants I can handle, but I don't like the biscuits. They just taste sort of dry and lardy to me. The lard taste I don't mind but the crumbly dryness I hate!

All depends on the kind of biscuits you get. I like the Flaky ones, that come apart in layers. I don't care for the crumbly ones at all.

But I grew up here in the south, where biscuits are one of the four main food groups. You get used to eating them and then there's nothing like 'em.

I like the flaky ones as well. And Yeah I grew up eating "Southern Style" biscuits but never did like them unless they were crumbled up in beans or smothered in good old artery hardening gravy! (Oh and Corn bread is better in beans).
Speaking of cornbread, have you tried that Broccoli cornbread recipe I put in the cookbook thread? Man is it good! (but don't use low fat or fat free cottage cheese)!

Haven't tried it. I'm not fond of cornbread at all. I can eat it if I have to, but it's not my favorite by a long shot.

Oh man, you GOT to try it at lest once. VERY moist and the cottage cheese leaves little chunks of goodness sometimes. Just mix it up, throw about an eighth inch of oil in the Cast Iron Skillet, bake at 350 until a toothpick comes out clean and you're good to go!
